New Baby

Assalamualaykum!! My mother just had a new baby boy!!! He was born 11 days ago and his name is Abdur-Rahman. I was supposed to type this post the day he was born but we were all so excited that I completely forgot. While my father was at the hospital with my mother our grandparents took care of us. The first day my father stayed at the hospital. But on the second day he came home and told us to get ready so we could go to the hospital and see the baby. So we packed our lunch and our father drove us there. First we went to the room where my mother stayed. We saw the baby.We had brought our mother balloons and a glass vase full of dark blue and purple flowers. I had also brought a camera to take pictures of the baby.After that it was lunch time.Since we had brought our lunch we ate it right there. Then we went out for a walk outside the building because our father said that there was a giant waterfall. Afte that we went back into the hospital.The baby had a few tests and then we went home.

Red Ants

Today we were playing outside in the front of our house.We had brought our brother with us so he could play too.My father and grandfather were pulling the weeds.I was busily raking the soil to make it clean and my sister was digging. Just then I looked up to see what my brother was doing and i saw him scracthing his legs and he was covered with red ants!!!! I ran to my father and told him.He told me to show my brother to my mother. Unfortunately my mother was on the phone so I showed him to my grandmother. She quickly took his pants and T-shirt out and shook them to get the ants out.By that time the ants had already stung abdullah. I rushed him into the bathroom and wiped him with a warm towel to get him clean. It was then that I saw the stings from the ants.I showed him to my mother and she was surprised.Then I put on a clean shirt for abdullah,washed the stings, and powdered them.Then I put on his clean pants,socks,and shoes.Thats all.

A berry-good surprise

Assalamualaykum!! Alhamdullillah me and my sister made a big discovery right in our own backyard! We were playing in our backyard when I ran into our house to get something. Right when I was coming out my sister was at the door and told me she found a short tree with some strange fruits that look like raspberries.I ran with her to the tree and at the first glance I said that they were mulberries. And I turned out to be right! All that afternoon we played with mulberries while my father and grandfather cleaned the backyard.Of course we helped a little.Then my mother came to see us how we were working and we showed her the mulberries.

She said she would try one and see how it tastes. She said it tasted sour and doubted if it was a mulberry or not. After she had gone back into the house I asked my sister to try a berry. She ate one and and said it was sweet. I was confused. Then my grandfather came to us and he said he wanted to see this tree that we called a mulberry tree. He said that they were mulberries.Suddenly he grabbed a branch of the tree and popped all the berries he could find into his mouth. He also said that he had eaten a few when he was young and said that the tree would grow bigger.I immediately ran into the house and told the good news to my mother that the berries were edible.Then I hurried to the computer and looked up the word read a sentence that said that mulberries are sweet and edible. That was our new discovery.

Clear Lake Park

Assalamualaykum.Yesterday we went to Clear Lake Park. It was raining which made it more fun because i love rain.Even though it was raining there were tons of children at the park.First we played for about 10 minutes.Then our mother called us to come and eat some pizza.After that we played for some more.I was busily decorating a small tree with bits of sparkly ribbon left behind by bicycles. It was raining harder by the time we went home.

Downtown Aquarium

Assalamualaykum.Today we went to the downtown aquarium.It was the best aquarium i had ever seen in my whole life.It was NOT like an ordinary aquarium because it had a restaurant.Everything looked sea-like becuase even the waitresses in the restaurant were wearing fish ties! There was even a giant treasure chest in the restroom to sit on.There was a Treasure Chest gift shop were i bought a small aquatic fan.We also bought one cup of dipping dots ice cream.There was a giant ferris wheel outside and a sea animal carousel.We got to sit in a small blue train with lots of other people to take a tour around.There was even a place where you could

get to touch real live sting rays and see real large shark eggs.After that we took a ride in the carousel and went home.

P.S. I dont know how to explain the whole thing.

Assalamualykum! Looks like I haven't been writing in my blog for a really long time.We went to Texas and moved into a new big house right behind the masjid.Before,we had been in California.I

have such a busy schedule that I don't have time to type on my blog.Plus,I don't even have anything to write.Inshallah, I will try to write things in my blog.

Beautiful Locket

Assalamualaykum!!!!! Yesterday, since it was Eid-ul-Adha, I got a beautiful locket necklace. The only problem with it was that it would not close.So we had to return it and get another one.Since my mother would not allow me to put a picture of me inside it, I drew a picture of myself and stuck it inside.I really like it.
