Beautiful Locket

Assalamualaykum!!!!! Yesterday, since it was Eid-ul-Adha, I got a beautiful locket necklace. The only problem with it was that it would not close.So we had to return it and get another one.Since my mother would not allow me to put a picture of me inside it, I drew a picture of myself and stuck it inside.I really like it.

A 3D Movie!!

Assalamualaykum! Today we went to a movie.The movie's name was: Sea Monsters,a prehistoric adventure.Before the movie began someone gave us special glasses.When you put them on, the creatures from the movie seem to come right towards you!! Also the water on the screen seems to be spilling out of the screen.My father told me it was a 3D movie.All of us had never ever seen a 3D movie before so it was very new to us.I liked the whole movie exept the loud noise.I hope to see more 3D movies.

Diamonds

Assalamualaykum! I have my very own diamond collection.They are actually rhinestones,but they glisten so much that they look like real diamonds.One diamond
shimmers so much that I told my mother that it has to be a diamond.But she said no.All the little diamonds are kept safely in a small box.I always brush the box carefully clean with an
very old paintbrush.I have about ten diamonds.I keep the box with the paintbrush safely
in my homeschooling shelf where my brother abdullah cant reach it.

Rain

The rain is somehow coming,going,coming,going.But I am still happy that it's lasting for a long time.Plus it is very very heavy rain.Yesterday it rained too but it was light rain and went away quickly.There were lots and lots of puddles

Rainy Day

Assalamualaykum! Today we went to Qiyamul Layl at 4:oo a.m and after it was done we went outside and it was raining.My sister showed me my shoes and they were very wet.I put my foot in one of the shoes and to my surprise I found my shoe filled with water! I put on my other shoe and it was filled with water too.I realized that the rain had done it.We both ran to our father and told him that my shoes were filled with water.Then we looked at his shoes and they were not even the least bit wet.Then we went home.I wiped my shoes and put them by the heater to dry.We begged our mother to let us outside,and even though it was bitter cold she let us go for 5 minutes.We went outside with our scooters and splashed in the deep puddles.Our father left to his office and we returned home.

P.S. There were even more deep puddles at the masjid

Our Trip

Assalamualaykum! Yesterday our father told us that he had to go to his office in the night,though it was holiday.I begged him to take me along but he said no,so I kept quite.Then I went to our room and began to play with abdullah.Suddenly my mother came into our room and said that ALL of us are going.I was so happy.We packed all of our stuff,prayed isha and were off.We drove to a hotel called Hyatt.The hotel was so big and beautiful that it had a restaurant. It had about 16 floors.It was so big that the elevators were made of glass and if you stood outside your room you can see which floor the people are going.We dropped our mother in the hotel and then me,my sister,my brother,and our father went to see his office.It was very quite when we went but it was pretty with squishy balls scattered every where.After that we went back to the hotel ,ate dinner,and slept.While we were sleeping our father went to his office because he had to stay up all night.When we woke up my father was back with breakfast.So we ate breakfast and since we were all a bit tired we took a small nap.My baby brother,abdullah was the first one up. Then our father said that we had to leave.Just before leaving,our mother took us to one floor. There was a gigantic ball of straw and beside it there was a big stream of water running along and also there were beautiful trees planted beside it .I took the camera out took a few pictures.Nearby there was a big gift shop since we were in San Francisco. I wanted to buy something but I had not brought my money so I could not buy anythig. Suddenly our father appeared and said we have to go..Next,to surprise us he took us again to his office but outside,there was a gigantic waterfall which i had not seen before because it was night.I took some photos and a small videoThen to surprise us even more,he took us to the pacific ocean.We played there and collected bamboo stickes.Using the bamboo stickes,we wrote our names on almost every flat rock.Then he took us to our old apartment which made us yell with happiness.We met our old muslim neighbors,the one who had given abdullah clothes when he was very small.Then we went home.

Here is some thing amazing that happened to me long ago:I was praying in a masjid and suddenly someone said assalamualaykum.I did not respond because I was praying and suddenly the person reached into his pocket and dropped a peppermint candy in front of me!!!!I was so happy.When I was done praying I picked up the candy and showed it to my father.He said that I should share it with my sister.We returned to our apartment and I shared it with my sister.

Muslim Unity Day

Assalamualaikum!! Yesterday we went to muslim unity day.It was really fun.We ate soft frozen lemonade,ice cream,popcorn,and cotton candy.First we went to the crousel and I sat on a horse and abdullah sat right beside me.Then we went to a strange ride, and you sit inside some swings and it'l spin you around.And you will feel dizzy when you come out.I dont know what you call it.But you feel like your flying.Next we went to a big water ride.the line was almost one hour.Then we sat on a boat and then it slid us down a very steep slide and then it floated on a river.I felt like i was going to fall any minute .Then it was prayer time so we went to pray.And my mother bought an abaya in one of the little shops.After that we went to the water place.There was a place for little children and a place for big children.In the place for little children there was an arch with light water coming through and some balls which fill up with water and pour it down.In the place for big children there was a big bucket which pours down water on the children.There was even water coming from the top when you climb the stairs!Then we went to a mini roller coaster for children.It was soo fun.But we had to wait half an hour!!!While we were waiting, aalia was waiting for the bumper cars.Then while i changed out of my wet clothes aalia went on a few rides.Then it was prayer time and we went to pray.After that we went home.

Trouble

Here's a little story:Once upon a time,there was a cute little squirrel named Trouble.No matter where she went or what she did, she was always getting into trouble!

Every time she sat down to eat with her family she'd knock her glass of almond milk all over the table.

"Trouble,you did it again!" her parents would scold.

"I'm sorry," Trouble would say. "It was an accident"

Every time she would play with her friends, she'd bump into them and step all over their tails.

"Trouble,stop it!" they'd yell.

"I'm sorry," Trouble would answer."It was an accident"

One day Trouble was kicking around a walnut for fun,and it rolled into the middle of a street.

Trouble ran after it. She didnt see that a girl on a bike was heading right for her!

After that close call,Trouble's mother, Mrs.Squirrel, said,"Trouble! You almost got squished by that bike!"

"What bike?" said Trouble.

And thats when Mrs.Squirrel figured it out.Trouble

wasnt getting into trouble on purpose.She just needed glasses!

The eye docter agreed and gave Trouble a very fashinable-

looking pair of glasses.

Once Trouble could see she stopped getting in trouble and lived

happily ever after.

The three dolphins

Here's a story i made up.Its about three dolphins.Lets begin.There were once three dolphin sisters living in the ocean.Their names were Aqua,Coral,and Marina.Aqua was the biggest.Coral was the next and Marina was the baby.The little dolphins were only about the size of a girl's hand.They lived with their mother:Sea and their father:Ginger.They lived in a log in a sea anemone .Aqua loved to study about humans.Coral was always reading and Marina was playing with her friends.One day Marina opened the door to go out."Where are you going Marina?" Coral asked."To play with my friends" Marina said."I will be back after half an hour Bye".Marina stepped out and Coral cotinued her reading.An hour passed by and Marina didnt return.Aqua was getting worried."Lets go outside and see where Marina is" said Aqua."Okay"said Coral.So the two dolphins went.They searched and searched for Marina but she was no where to be seen."Oh no! where could Marina be!" said Coral.Suddenly they saw Sharky Fisher(the enemy)so they hid in a cave nearby.As they were waiting for him to pass by, Aqua saw a blue speck swimming nearby."Coral, look at that speck "said Aqua."Which speck ?"said Coral."That one"said Aqua."Oh that one , but what could it be?"said Coral."I dont know"said Aqua.Suddenly the speck moved closer and Coral saw that it was a dolphin."Marina! What happend?" said Coral joyfully."I was playing with my friends and then Sharky Fisher passed by and we all had to hide and i hid there then saw you so i thought you were looking for me"Marina said."We were looking for you" Aqua said."Anyway lets go home for i'm sure mother might be looking for us"Coral said.And they went home.

Friday Class

I always go to friday quran class with my sister.Its in MCA masjid.The class is in the womens prayer hall.Everybody has to memorize a surah and read 1 page.And also you get gifts.I am collecting the gifts.The class is fun because i get to see my friends.And whenever your done you can go outside and wait for mom and all that time you can play!

Discovery Museum

Assalamualykum!!Me and my friends(haleemah and maryam)went to the museum.It was very fun.First we went to the bubble place and made bubbles.There was a pipe and if you dip the pipe in the bubble juice and hold it in the air you get bubbles.There were bubbles falling from the top too!!!.Then we went upstairs.Over there there was i think ball painting.First they will give you a paper and you have to write your name.Then you put the paper in the bottom of the box. Then you get a golf ball coated with paint and put it in thebox and roll it around and you get a paper with paint!!!Then we went to make corn husk dolls(dolls made with corn husk).But abdullah botherd very much there so haleema's mother suggested that we should go to the wonder cabinet(a place for babies)and abdullah liked it.There was even a sand box.After that we ate lunch and went to the waterworks.That was the best place of all.There was even a little place for the babies.abdullah played very much there.Finally we went to the kids garden and did leaf printing.There was an arch and i discoverd a secret bunch of green sour little grapes.Maryam seemed to like them very much.Then when we went to the bathroom we discoverd face painting!!!!!! there was a little bathroom with jars of paint and the children get to paint their faces all by them selves.We did not paint our faces since we did not like it but we painted our fingernails.The paint came off easily in one scratch.Finally we went home.
